Caring Hands Mobile Wellness Salon was inspired by two very important people in my life—my mom, Debi, and my uncle, David. Both have since passed, but their love, encouragement, and unwavering support continue to guide and encourage me.

My journey into cosmetology began as a teenager when my mom caught me cutting my own hair in the bathroom. Instead of getting upset, she recognized my interest and encouraged me to enroll in cosmetology school.  Today, after 18 years in the industry, I can honestly say I wouldn’t be where I am without her belief in me.

Over the years, I had the privilege of caring for both my uncle David and my mom through some of the most challenging seasons. I styled my uncle’s hair in the hospital after brain surgery and later at home while he was battling cancer. As my mother’s dementia progressed, I cared for her at home by providing hair care, nail care, and facial services. In their own ways, they both expressed to me that it helped them feel comfortable, dignified, and cared for during times when so much in their lives was changing.

Through those experiences, I realized that something many people take for granted—going to the salon—isn’t always easy. Whether it’s a busy schedule, health conditions or concerns, transportation & mobility limitations, sensory sensitivity, or simply a desire for a more comfortable and personalized experience, many people benefit from salon services that come to them.

That’s why I founded Caring Hands Mobile Wellness Salon. My mission is to bring a compassionate, nurturing salon experience directly to my clients, providing personalized beauty and wellness services in the comfort and convenience of their own space. Using low-tox products and a wellness-focused approach, I strive to create an experience that promotes not only beauty, but comfort, relaxation, and well-being.
